Enroll in Preschool at Grand Peak Academy

Grand Peak Academy Preschool is a full-time program where students attend Monday through Friday from 8:05 am – 3:05 pm.  We offer two preschool classes with 20 students each, and a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Tuition is at a cost of $750 per month with a $100 registration fee. Upon enrollment, children should be three years old and fully potty trained.  We currently enroll off a priority waitlist. Due to the structure of our program and curriculum, four-year-old children are considered first for enrollment.  All preschool students wear uniforms to school and bring a sack lunch from home.

We encourage each student in our preschool program to explore and embrace their imagination and creativity. We provide opportunities for children to build self-confidence, become problem solvers, and develop an excitement for learning.

Our curriculum meets the Colorado State Standards with objectives and standards posted in the classrooms.  Please see our Preschool Curriculum to see what your child will learn – Preschool Curriculum

Seats fill quickly so please complete our online Intent to Enroll Form to get on the waitlist

Michele Lucero

Hello! I am Michele Lucero the Director and Teacher in the Preschool program here at Grand Peak. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 29 years. I started as a licensed in-home provider then moved on to child care centers as a teacher working with all ages groups of children. After 17 years of teaching and more education I became a Director of large child care centers. I held this position for over 8 years then realized I missed being with the children. That led me to my position here at Grand Peak. I am extremely happy to be back with the children and part of the GPA team.

I am originally from California but I have been living on Colorado Springs since 1996. I have two grown children, a son and daughter in law and four grandchildren who all live in Colorado. Family time is my favorite time!

Working with children is a new adventure each day and I wouldn’t wan it any other way!
